Not many folks around for tours today and we were looking at the local newspaper and found these photos of folks dealing with the aftermath of Irene. The lady is climbing a ladder to get up to the road where she has left a bicycle. Another bicycle is left here at the base of the abutment for use when she gets home. The other picture is of a family that gets driven on a tractor to go to school rather than go on the road that is available and would take a much longer time for them to go. People make do!!!
If I can I will throw in a picture of the monument at sunset. Hope they all come through.
